Hows it going guys. Well i went to 2 hobby shops today and found stuff at both of them! My Hobby Town had the new BN Whiteface GP38-2 for 60 bucks! I got it and then went to a real train store and bought a decoder for my new GP38-2 and just started talking to the guys around about trains and the club they have and im thinking about joining it! Here is the best part i found a custom painted IC SD70 FINALLY i have an IC Deathstar and its a SD70 to boot! One of the guys was an EJ&E fan and he said
Im building a 5'x9' layout and that allows me to finally use bigger curves and since i have a good supply of E-Z track i just had to wonder if Bachmann made 24" curves. If not would it be possible to use 26" curves with a 5' wide board? Any help would really be appreciated! -Kade
That is what i call good info thanks guys! Now if i get 26" curves my intermodal cars will look great! No more overhang for me!
Well i did some railfanning today and i didnt plan for it either! I went fishing with my dad this morning and right at the boat ramp is the CN old IC main to New Orleans and right when i was backing the boat into the water here comes one my first CN SD70M-2 with a 75I. About 10 minutes later another train with a Crash 9 and a SD60 cowl unit and what do ya know 10 minutes after that the City of New Orleans flys by! Well railfanning for me is done for a while! I came home for lunch today to find my house was broken into! My Wii, PS2, digital camera, airbrush, and cd player! So even weathering my models got screwed up! Lucky for me all my locomotives are still here! Its been a LONG DAY! -Kade
Im so glad they didnt take my engines i guess they didnt think they were worth it! Yay for me because most of my locos are discontinued( thanks athearn )! But at least i can still work on my layout!

Well finally some progress on the layout! Sorry about the pic its a bit blurry, batteries in the camera must be going dead. Its a good feeling to get the trains off the floor and about eye level!
Not only that he said the GP, SD38-40 series locos would be gone by 2011!
Well my 20th Birthday was awsome yesterday! Went to Tennessee Yard caught a SD38 and Slug set they both still said Burlington Northern but they had a hand made BNSF patch were the logo should be! But here was the best part of the whole day the Trimmer Crew Let me get inside the cab of BN 6908!!! The only bad thing was they wouldnt let me take pictures!
