I have some small color cameras with sound we used for surveillance. They will rubber band right on top of the loco, and then you can send the signal by wireless to your TV! You can sit and watch your big screen TV of your own train layout. I know this sounds pretty infant in nature, but there is something neat about watching your own layout. One might ask why not simply go to the train room to watch it. Well, I don't know. I like the perspective of being on top of the engine. Just when you all
The sparks are down near the trucks by the pickups, Pretty fair sparks. Jake
No spark with just a car or a wire from insulated rail to outside rail. Both loops are powered by only one output on the ZW. I have droppers at various points, but they are all standard connections and I've check them all. Has to be something within the Atlas switch I'm guessing. Jake
My Atlas wye switch is thrown automatically within a double loop, tossing the train to the outside loop, then next pass to the inside loop, etc. It gets it's electric from a series of capacitors, resistors, etc, Bob N helped me with. It works great. But...it sparks when going from inside to outside, but not outside to inside. It sparks enough that is easy to see and causes a momentary little " glitch " in the electrical system. What would cause this and how could one correct that problem
In the last issue of " Trains " there was an article about fixing a noisy E Unit. I could not tell if the radio shack replaced or fixed the E unit. Does the current E unit come out or does this radio shack part simply quiet down the E Unit? thanks much, Jake
I think Bob is reincarnated. No one should retain that much knowledge from once around the block. He guided me through an Atlas slip switch problem a year ago and the thing is still working flawlessly. Everyone that has seen the switch work is amazed at how completely, and with a nice audible " Click " it throws. It connects a double loop and sends each train on a different loop automatically, set up by the touching of the locomotives wheels as it approches the slip switch from either loop
It came with a bundle of Marx Toys accessories NIB and Lionel Whistling station NIB No 48W. Thanks to all responding, Jake
