Well here's what I use to light those street lights & small grain of wheat bulbs that I have instaled in my buildings. I use "bus wire." I take small pieces of insulated black tape,& wrap it around those tint insulators on the tops of the poles. I than wrap the bus wire around the black tape & carry the procedure to the nxt pole. all this is hooked up the the variable post on a small dc power pack I have. Nothing has burned down yet. From these lines I run lines to the houses

I have a williams F3 unit that has a reverse board that burned out. The only boards that Bachmann have are those with the plugs. Is it possible to remove the old board, hook up the 2 motors and run it off a DC power pack,by changing the polarity as you would operating HO trains?????? Thank you,Hopper

I recently received an EP-5,williams by bachmann diesel. She stalls out at times in places that it shouldn't happen. One of the things that i notice is that on each of the 6 wheel trucks, there's 4 traction tires. Could it be that there's not enough electrical contact made here???? Should I remove some of the tires.????? Thanks Hopper
