I would gap BOTH rails to cut off all power using a DPST switch.... altho I'm not sure why you would need to do turn off power to your staging tracks anyways using DCC.
Thanks for the heads up! I've been interested in servos for a while now. Went and grabbed one for myself :)
My new toy (FINALLY!) Love to hear that engine idle
After an exhausting search to find a decent solution to this problem, I decided to just fab some out of a stick of brass rod.
Say what you want about cheap airbrushes..... but I picked this one up at Walmart off the clearance rack for $10. Works better than all of the other brushes that I have that cost 5 times more. Its cheap, simple to use, simple to clean, and most importanly, WORKS! Mighty Mini
I had the same experience with them awhile back. I had a beautiful hopper kit from them when I reached the end of assembly I found I was missing one wheelset. I emailed them and told them what happened, they replied within a hour and sent me four complete trucks no charge .
Why not a girl on the trampoline? Oh, I guess that would have required a bit more "animation"...
That's going to be a second generation prototype. I haven't quite worked out the correct cam timing on that one.
The hobby is a very quiet one in the area, and the local club's due's are way too much. From the impressions I've gotten they don't just let someone interested in model trains come and run a train around their layout. It stinks, but there is also a lot of time and effort put into their club layout, which also travels to shows. I don't even think they layout they have now is the same one they had in their old club house at the museum.
