My RDCs arrived today! I'm still hunting for the coupler boxes to my 2 RDC3s so I can run those in consist with my 3 new RDC2s. I just finished weathering them, pix will be up later tonight when the parents come back with the camera. Still waiting on that second GP15 though.
I found the coupler boxes, just need to strip off the old weathering from the RDC3s and I'll have a 5 car train!
I think the run-on was to stress all the running/walking he did, the least being me showing him the trainly stuff around town. 40 minute periods? We have 56 minute periods and 3 minutes to dart from one building to another. And days with double AP Bio... 2 hours of it! Blech! Actually I'm a lot happier with my English class this year than last year, but other than that its about the same other than getting last period off several days each week.
Pencil Erasers. It will take several minutes, but they should take off the lettering without damaging the paintjob underneath. When doing this BN Patch for another member of this forum, the original CBQ number (502) was in place of where there is now the BN number and "BN." It took about 5 minutes of rubbing with an eraser but it did come off. Be careful if the eraser is worn down too far to switch to another, because you do not want the metal holder to scratch the paint job.
A couple pictures from today... SYRX Tank Car with light weathering. Scratchbuilt Freight House. It's in need of a foundation and paint. The pieces of styrene in the corners are only for mocking it's height. The dock only has the braces installed in the portions not hidden by brush! New Grade Crossing

This is quite possibly the first time I've posted here, but I am curious as to adding ditch lights while using a 2 function decoder. Here is my situation- I recently purchased a pair of GP15-1s, which would always be running in tandem on my friends layout. My friend offered to supply decoders and paint, and I the locomotives and time. Each of us would get the pair 6 months out of the year. I would like to have operating ditch lights on the units for use at shows and my home layout which is set
Did up a GP40 in the Pan Am Ph II Paint for a friend. Has working ditch lights to boot!
http://www.panamsouthern.com/ I updated the website... Thoughts?
Oops, thanks, fixed that. "Ironically the model, which was factory numbered 502, now wears the number 6242, the new number assigned to the real CB&Q 502 after the Burlington Northern merger." Also added the WRS link! Now to run and hide again!
