HELP!!!!!!!!! Anybody out there in the Hobrook, Long Island, NY area that can walk me through connecting the DZ-1075 sensor to the Lionel 153 Signal? Thanks.
Hey Bob, thanks for the reply on my problem of flickering lights, but there are no screws on the roofs of the cars, the cars are from I beleive the MPC or FunDemensions period and are numbered in the 9500 series, yellow in color with a broad orange stripe running above the windows, and a grey roof and dark blue under carriage, two trucks with 6 wheels per truck. I've been looking for some type of manual release to "spring" off the roof but no luck. Phil
Have a Lionel Chessie System passenger set which I'm using for the first time in over 20 years or so, the lights in the cars flicker. How do I get into the cars, there are no screws on the roofs or on the under frames. Don't want to pry the roof tops off for fear of damage. Help!!!
Hi, just got back from a long vacation and read your thoughts on the 153C contactor. I have very successfully been using the 153C contactors and 153 signals with my K-Line Super-Snap track. I don't have any problems with them coming loose, my track is screwed down before and after the area of the contactor and perhaps its the built in ties in the track that keeps the contactor in place but none the less all signals are still working just fine. You might want to check out e-bay for any 153 signals
Sorry you are having a problem with the 153C contactors, I have them on my layout under my K-Line Snap Track and have no problems, I find them quite reliable, my track is of course screwed into place and perhaps it's the built in ties on the K-Line Snap Track that help keep the contactor in place, but time after time of running my trains, the signals perform well.
I'm in the process of building a multi-deck hi-rail layout, I have an upper deck with 2 passenger mainlines, spurs, on a continous loop around the walls, 29 feet long, 11 feet wide. The woodwork extends out from the walls approx. 3 feet, with approx. 2 feet wide, devoted to the upper level as described, the lower level, approx. 1 foot wide, a one track freight line with return loops on either end, the space between upper & lower, approx. 3" high is presently open so I can electrify buildings
Reading Mth's ad in CTT, it states it can run conventional locos without additional equipment, does that mean I can use the DCS to run an older steamer or deisel from the 50s,60s or 70s just as they are? I'm presently using a old ZW transformer for my power supply.
Hi Jaab, have Super-Snap on my layout, great track system, love it! Try www.westerndepot.com , scroll down on the left part of your screen, their products, you will see Super-Snap listed, good luck!
Hi All, plan on using Z-Stuff dwaft signals on my layout, my track system is K-Line Super Snap. Anybody out there have these signals? Easy to install?
Hi Frank, I just saw the photos of your layout, all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!! You certainly have the touch that makes for great train layouts, keep those photos coming!! Phil
