Thank-you. I had hoped that the read back function from the engine was on the rise.
Good Morning, you'se all....... I have been reading about the use of radio control, either simplex or duplex. My question is, ' Have the decoders by the main companies able to send back the instructions it received from the control unit?'........This would be great feature. I understand that Lenz was the only company having this feature. Enjoy Sat....No mowing,edging,clipping,raking.......Running the TRAINS on time is MORE important.......................
Thanks to everyone for the information. This is a great site to learn....
Has anyone had experence with this product?
Does anyone have a internet site with engine sounds? Would like to listen to the real sounds for both Steam and Diesel...........
Thanks for the inform. Didn't know that UP had a special train for the games. Also never seen a single train of gondolas, let alone to everyone covered. Not sure about being sugar beet season. Thought that was in the fall. You may be right about the 10 engine consist, but with all the container cars with double load on about everyone. At any rate, train watching while traveling I-84 is fun if not a bit unsafe. My wife reminds me that I am to keep my attention on driving. It is a tough duty..
While traveling on I-84 West bound from Wyoming, I was train watching UP. East of Baker City, Or., I saw a 10 Engine train hauling all containers. It must have been loaded. Got into the Columbia River road, there was a UP with a BLUE painting. On the side was printed ' Olympic Torch', sorry couldn't remember the exact lettering. It was painted for the 2002 games in Utah. The engine number is ' 2001 '. It was at the head of a consist hauling nothing but gon-doe-las, sorry can't
I have a question that has been begging an answer. On Steam Engines, are the rods on each driver the same on both sides? I know its a dumb question. But thank-you for the help.
It's all a question of what you need and/or what you want. It is always nice to have possiblities and not use them, than not having a choice. Please correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't MRC not display the higher functions? I thought I read this in a product review.
