It was likely the reply you received to your post Rafferty, not your original inquiry. Glad to see this thread is back in it's proper context. G.
Maybe a recording of that twin Merlin snarl would be better than hanging a model on a thread over your layout - unless you're modeling the 'aerodrome.' Chuck (Modeling Central Japan in September, 1964 - WITHOUT recorded KB-50 noises) Nice mate. My thoughts (almost) exactly. G.
A touch off topic, but check this out. We spend our lives trying to make ours look real, and this guy takes real life and makes it look like a model. Enjoy, Glenn http://vimeo.com/4946315?pg=embed&sec=&hd=1
For those of us that model Canadian RR's I can highly recommend the gang at Canadian Model Trains. Their link: http://www.modeltrains.com/ . They are knowledgeable, tailor their e-mails to your specific roads/scale/interests and have great custom painting and DCC/sound installations. Cheers, G.
Thank you, Stein. I'd been hoping that site would turn up again. G.
May I recommend http://www.sceniking.com/ ? They do a nice job and can even do custom work. I mounted mine on foamcore using a spray adhesive and have been pleased with the results. G.
I don't know what they'd be going for, but Bachmann had some great simple kits that I had when I was a kid. Here's a link to the model numbers with photos: http://www.ho-scaletrains.net/bachmannhoscaleaccessoriesandkits/id37.html Might find them on an auction site or a train meet. Good luck and have fun. I was about your age when I started down this model railroading road and have never looked back. Cheers, Glenn

Found this site which seems to be an unbiased comparison: http://www.imaging-resource.com/WB/WB.HTM Cheers, Glenn Thanks for the link. Another good source is www.kenrockwell.com. Lots of practical advice on a plethora of cameras from film to point and shoot to DSLRs. Jaime Right back at you for your link, Jaime. G.
Just a heads-up to any Windsor area modellers. I just picked up several series III Fresh Cherries at the Amherstburg Walmart. Not sure on the in-town stores. A public service announcement from your friendly neighbourhood Windsorite. Glenn
