Good afternoon and thanks for the shrimp dinner. At present, 64 and sunny in Carolina. Nice and the girls tend to want to stay out. One of my former employers, Palmetto GBA, which is part of BC/BS lost a contract and has begun layoffs, according to yesterday's news. When it rains, it pours. On a brighter note, Boeing broke ground yesterday on a new plant in the Charleston area, which is to bring in 4000 jobs initially and including subcontractors, 8000 more. How that will affect us in Florence

If all goes well, and the wife will go with me, today will be another sortie to the grocery store to lay in some supplies, but hopefully no more asparagus! Yall all take care and stay safe
Good Tuesday morning from Carolina. 46 degrees and clear this morning, with a projected high of 70. Looks to be a nice day. Paula, could you fix some red spicy fish stew over rice for supper? Good morning from Carolina. 46 degrees this Monday morning. I haven't looked outside, but it looks like it's probably cloudy. Rather quiet it is tonight. Where is the crowd? Some of my farcebook friends are watching Donnie Osmond rattling his bones on the dance floor, so mebbe that's it. I have had a most enjoyable day on the wireless and am quite happy. It got up to 74 here today with partly clear skies and was very pleasant. Paula, thanks for supper. Mornin. 56 and cloudy in Carolina this morning. At least, the rain stopped. Not a whole lot to report, but tonight is BBQ ribs and seafood night, so I won't be in tonight. Everybody take care and stay warm and safe,
The Orkin man just left, second time in 3 days. We have had an ant problem. All that rain we had caused them to show up in the house. There were hundreds on the wife's computer desk and tower, some on mine, and several hundred were in the shower. Hammercy, everything seemed to happen at the same time. The ones in the shower were fire ants. That'll get your attention quick....
Good morning from Carolina and thanks for breakfast. At present, 51 and rain, with clearing later. This storm has been something else. A friend in Norfolk told me that they had 75 mph winds there and a number of trees in her neighborhood were down. Paula, I hope your Dr visit results in good news and you get home quickly.
