Ok guys, I need some opinions and help. I have recently converted form HO to Nscale. I purchased two PCM DCC/Sound E7 units. One runs great, but the second runs sporadically. When i looked at the trucks i surpisingly noticed that the rear wheelsets have traction tires (grooved wheelset with rubber band). I notice that the rear truck cantelevers on the middle whhelset and the performance is dismal. I have checked the contacts, alignment, removed the traction tires and replaced, cleaned the track,
In my humble opinion, I have been to two Greenberg's and they are ok at best. Any show is worht going to, , but these are no big deal. I was at the PA one and it was disappointing.
Does anyone know of or take part in a train presentation to Cub scout packs? I am a leader of my local scout pack and want to invite my local club, etc to a meeting. I am worried that the parents will then hate me for introducing the "addiction" to the pack. Anyone part of a club in t he Newtown, CT. area that would like to come visit? t-meggs
Happt New Year all! I was in the local dollar store yesterday and picked up a 2 pack of black sanding blocks(yes $1). SKU #296067 You can buy these at the store or online wholesale. There are different grit like sandpaper. I used it last night dry on some old and new track. WOW!!! I tried it with regular "blue" track cleaner (wet) and still works great. Hi folks, Anyone have the problem of needing to continously cycle the power on/off several times before the Digitrax DCS 100 will turn on? I get two beeps, it shuts down, I start again and it beeps. After a few times it turns on finally. I have checked for shorting etc and it seems not to be the problem.

I see Micromark has ho locomotive rollers for sale. Does anyone know where else I can find these for HO[?] t-meggs
additional .02 worth. 3/4" MDF from HOme Depot. Working on it for 3 years, no warping, straight and true , great to paint and work with. I even added 3/4 to 4" foam for scenery and hills, etc. [^]
