Thanks guys, I will give Inkscape a try.
I just got a great deal on a Soundtraxx DSD-AT100LC sound decoder for my FA1 with a 1" speaker. The model # is 820042. I was wondering if anyone might know where I can find installation instructions for this particular model, it is the second release from life like/proto 2000. The board would have to be swapped out, it is not plug and play as that would be too easy.
The 3 window cab is a copy of the CN SD40-2 and GP40 cab designed by CN except that the CN cabs had 4 windows.
For the hand rail you say you already have the styrofoam. Put a piece of thin metal or plastic between the styrofoam and the hand rail and use a hair dryer on high for short bursts, if you apply preasure outwards on the handrail as heat is applied this will usually straighten it out, I have had to do a few of my own. Hope this helps.
A little more expensive, but I am planning a lower stage present era and an upper stage steam/diesel transition era. The plan is to model the same track plan with all the changes that have occured over the years at a glance. I plan to copy the lower and upper levels to resemble the changes over the decades. If you look at the upper deck you can see a stem loco passing a newly constructed industry or house, or..., look directly below and you can see an AC4400 passing the same industry years later
Can anyone tell me where I can listen to an Athearn Genesis 4664 challenger online, what site, etc...?
I don't know about you, but I was in my LHS this weekend and I almost paid $15.99 for an Atlas vehicle. I was looking at the new 30's to 40's era stuff, magnificent!!!, I almost got caught paying $15.99 + tax for each of 3 vehicles I had in my hand until I gave my head a shake. $15.99 are you kidding,???
I'm hooked on sound too, I can't go back.
I really want people to look at the lower scene and just raise their head and see a modern day version of the scene below with all the changes that have accured over the years.
I love the way you think! I've run some mixes on a freinds layout that made no sense but pleased the hell out of me.
