I've had my Bachmann Shay 3 or 4 years, and have had no isuues what-so-ever. Smooth, quiet, and slow. One of these days I'm going to put a sound decoder in it. Rotor
One thing I WOULD be in favor of is putting this line on the bottom as well as the top of the page like it used to be before they redsigned it. Trains.com Forums » Model Railroader Forums » General Discussion (Model Railroader) » How about new forums?
I totally agree with that suggestion. It's a pain to have to scroll back up to the top of the page. Rotor
I can't believe I forgot the Guitar House in Fayetteville, GA. It was designed by John or "Elvis" Carden, (depending on who ya talk to). Both were pretty good musicians/ songwriters. John died last year in an unfortunate accident. http://j-walkblog.com/index.php?/weblog/comments/guitar_shaped_house/

I always thought that would be a neat name (for a Hawiian railroad). Rotor I think the line you are refering to was in Grumpier Old Men (1995) and was one of many great one liners from Burgess Merideth...... Both of those movies are my absolute favorite movies of all time and I still get them out

Just a little bit in a hidden part of a loco (like inside the shell). Gonna try that. On my GP9 first, because that shell has the most paint (factory paint, AL, SEC, ARR). I'm gonna make that yard into a small industrial park. Muck better. Brake fluid "works" but really softens the plastic. Leaving the loco
Not a stupid question, but a whole lot of variables. For tight single lane, to the likker still, 8-9 feet minimum. A two lane country road, about 18-20 feet, minimum. I used to have a link to road dimensions, but don't find it now. Rotor
Southwest Chief wrote: For some reason the eBay link would not open for me. But the TCS is a nice kit. Take a look at the link below. It shows the color differences between "Golden" and "Sunny". With modern AC4400s I'd personally go with Sunny. They look more like modern headlights. Golden are great for F units, Steam locos, or really any thing of the "Golden" era of railroading. Sorry for that bad pun TCS LEDs That looks even "mo better"! Bad pun noted
