Hi, Charles Ro lists #R2030 arch bar truck frames with cupler for around $7, they do not include wheels. You can find these on their web site under parts, the are almost the same as bachman. Check with Phill Jenses at Hartland for a price on there metal wheels. Hope this helps. Chuck

Mr Ash, I would be carefull picking up the K by the steam dome as I beleave i'ts a press fit into the boiler and could come out. I use both hands to pick up my engine, seperating the tender before moving it. Have you had any problems with the plugs from the engine to the tender comming loose?? I'm running on a temporary loop of track 8' curves and the plugs have come loose 4 or 5 times. I have #455 post wreck w plow, thanks for the tip on the smokebox door. chuckger

Hi Guys, Has anyone here used vallejo paints? This paint can be brushed on or sprayed, dosent leave any brush marks according to some of the posts I read on the train tools forum. Would like to know the type of results you got with it. I am looking for something that would make a good repro of Russian Iron for engine boilers. Vellejo has several metalic colors that might work. Hi Matt, Getting started, just moved, new place has about 2 to 21/2 acers in the back yard. Plan on building some rolling stock and engines over winter and start on train layout in early spring. Im modeling early DSP&P --1872 to 1890. RR will be battery power, and I will be using link and pin couplers, scale 120.3 Im working on building a work benck in the garage, this is along one side about 2' wide and 20' long. Almost finished with it . Have room for band saw and tabel saw at end of work bench
