Tonight on KCET in the Los Angeles area they aired a program on the California Zephyr. I thought it was well done. The host boarded the train in Sparks, Neveda and traveled west towards Oakland, California. It was nice to see Donner Pass from within the train.
I'd bring back the entire Southern Pacific system. I enjoyed hearing their dispatchers giving and taking block authority under DTC rule 480.
