What kind are they? I might be interested in them if they are fixable. baltimoretrainworks@yahoo.com
Never got a single email from the guy but I did report him to Ebay as possible fraud. Want to give him the benefit of the doubt, he might really be one of those people who think any old train, regardless of condition or the fact at least 2 million of them still survive til today are worth major money. He also may have found out what the set was really worth and is too embarassed to show his face now after claiming it was worth $12,000.00 without really researching it.
2 and a half hours left, I've gotten no answers either since the auction first started and I've e-mailed him several times . Like we all thought another scammer or totally clueless! I wonder if he's watching our reactions on this forum and OGR's (which the moderators shut down) and isn't happy that noones buying it.

I just got an e-mail from the guy,he's not sure of the model numbers and he has no way of posting a picture. Can't he get a disposable camera from Walmart and have them put the pics on a disc for him? He's either truly clueless or a really bad scam artist
Plus he's been an Ebayer since Feb 14 of this year, nice long track record! If all old Lionel is good start on college money I've got enough in the basement to goto Oxford
I haven't posted on this forum in awhile but when I saw this thread it really ticked me off and I had to get on my soap box and to paraphrase Dennis Miller,"I don't mean to go on a rant here, but...". Why don't we charge extra for anyone we can't have a meaningful train discussion with? Is it that hard for you to take a few minutes of your valuable time to talk to a kid about a train even if it's only "How fast will it go?" or "How many cars can it pull
Challenger, if those are dinosaurs in those gondolas I think you have hit the little kid trifecta there, trains, dinosaurs and fire trucks!
I ama amazed by the number of people who don't see anything wrong with being forced to use a credit card at a store! The law says you have to take legal tender it's not an option. And as for it being the same as ordering from home it's not, you are in the store not at home, if I was at home I would order it from home. I don't use credit cards for piddly little purchases like $8.00 bottles of ground foam and in this economy why are you forcing people to use a credit card to buys toys
Just got back from M.B. Kleins in Cockeysville and I'm pretty P.O.'d at them! Was going to get some Woodland Scenics turf and a Lionel Thomas set but after the he following incident took place I walked out: I went to the Woodlands display and they had one bottle of the Earth that I needed but no Grass. i asked the sales guy if they had anymore in stock and he told me to go to the computer in the back of the store, pull up thier website to see if any in stock and get him the product#.
