Most rewarding is two fold. First is the friendship with the members of the club I belong to. Second is when I finally got my new BLI 2-8-2 DCC with sound programmed and running. Most fustrating-- programmomg BLI loco
Add my special thanks here also. I purchased, my first BLI loco, from a hobby shop. Several small pieces (class lights and hand rails) for boiler front were missing. An e-mail shot off to BLI had the missing parts in my PO box 4 days later. Thanks BLI. And by the way, I don't hold BLI responsible for missing parts, box was open at hobby shop to display the engine so could have become missing there. Ken
First, I'm no specialist in Lionel or any other mfr. and I'm new to this new stuff coming out. I've seen the new steam loco's and I'm impressed with the way they have made the the class lights on these locos and the way they are lit up. I do appreciate the lenghts that mfrs went through to make them so realistic and detailed. My only complaint is that after all the detail that went into these class lights, they left off the light's lenses. Are lenses available to complete

Been using firefox for 6 years now, no problems. Ken
I found them, and even tried them out. They work really good, another simple million $ idea. Have anyone of you used them for populating pass cars?
No, but I'd bet bthey would also work great for holding loads on flat cars too!! Ken
I bought a starter set for grandson for Xmas. I'm really impressed with the 4-4-2. For a low end starter set loco, it is pretty well detailed and pulls really good. I was a little dissapointed at first, but now that the engine is getting broken in, it is running and smoking better than ever. My only concern is the plastic gearing holding up to the "high torque starts" of an eight year old. Ken
