I have gargraves track mounted directly to a base of insulation board with screws. Can I successfully ballast and glue this set up? If so, what ballast would you suggest and what glue? I note that white glue, water with a bit of detergent is often suggested. What other options are there? Advise and opinions VERY welcome!
What manufacturer /s make the factory and store fronts that fit flat agains a wall ?
Lee, Thanks for the offer to buy the track, vut it won't be necessary. Encouraged by comments and with some difficulty (for ME) I have learned to move the pins around. I also located a source to buy the pins and track that isn't days/weeks away. Thanks to all who responded.
I admire those of you that are able to change the center connector on this product. I have found it to be impossable. With jewler's needle nose and super magnification all I have accomplished is loosing numerous connectors. I will keep the trolly and throw away the track. In my opinion it is a prime example of cheap manufacturing. To add injury to insult, I find no replacement connectors listed. Perhaps if I had a supply of them I could eventually develop the skill needed to change them. Or to
Thanks for the replys. I'll get a smaller needle nose and try again to change those small connectors. Does it make a difference if the open side is up or down?
I purchased the Superstreets Trokky set and have had nothing but problems with the track. Have any of you experienced any problems? Mainly, ifound that when I dis-assembled the track many of the center pin connectors changed position, transfering to a different section. I have tried with NO success to change the small connector back to it's origomnal position. Any suggestions as to how to reinsert these connectors? Secondarily, the set came (unopened) without any instructions for setting up the
