Doug, Would REALLY like to, but can't do it. Will be in Chino Hills from 6 to 12, then probably go over to Cal Stewart and see if Lloyd needs any help. Give my best to Jon. Hope you guys don't have any rain.
Rain, what's that ?
We do-up the garage in a "Haunted House" look and setup a 3rail "O" layout, don't want little ones going up & down the steps to the front door. It takes two to three weeks to put together, lots of work but lots more fun. People will come back after trick-r-treating and just want to watch the trains and see what's different from previous years. Gotta try to pass on the "Train Addiction" to the younger generations. Tried a nite shot, but as is evident my camera
Jon, If you guys went on the harbor cruise hope it didn't get to cold. Sent you a PM.
Mine arrived today ! Edit: The Devil made me do it !
Don, If you can make it down saturday morning I'll have the doughnuts/pastries & coffee ready.
Lionel does a GP30 & C420 in Seaboard colors, can't speak for the GP30's but the C420's are a real workhorse. Very strong puller.

I'll give ya a call later today to set-up the museum visit, it will be hard to see both in one day. As for the flying, look on the bright side, your flight crew weren't playing on their laptops resulting in overflying the airport.
Tom & Ray, Just a quick drop in to pass on some info, seems as a "Garden Layout" may be in the works for the SD Model RR Museum (again). Hopefully it will come to fruition.
Jon, All of those parks have crazy prices, don't see how a family on vacation can afford it anymore. We buy season passes that are good for the zoo and the wild animal park, fairly reasonable plus it comes with free parking for season pass holders. Sounds great for the RR Museum visit, hopefully the harbor cruise/tour will get you close to the Hotel Del down in Coronado. Fantastic place, believe it is touted as being the largest "stick built" structure in the country. Was gonna give
