Aristo 040

I asked this question over on the Aristo fourm and it must have involed national security cause all I got was send it back to Aristo. I have a 040 that has just stopped and will not go any more I suspect a burned out motor  My question is is the Aristo 040 motor and the Aristo u-boat motor the same?????

I have 2 u-b motor out of a dummy I made, if the motor is what is wrong.

Re: Aristo 040

I would think that the motors are different given the time between the manufacture of the original 040 and the u boat.   I have often been proven wrong, and may be again.    Since you have both there why not look at them?   Do they look the same, do they have the same markings?
