The Largest O Gauge Railroad

Since I began subscribing to CTT in January of 2003, the largest layout I have seen in the pages of the magazine is 44' x 96' (May, 2005).  Have there been larger layouts covered?  What, if I may ask, is the largest layout ever constructed in O or S Gauge?

I don't know if this is O gauge but this claims to be the worlds largest model railroad located in Hamburg, Germany.

I would think the one run by the NJ Hi-Railers in Paterson, NJ would be larger than the 44x96 sited above.

Re: The Largest O Gauge Railroad

There's 2 out of 3 Layouts I know of that were cataloged in CTT. The first Layout is located in Shartlesville PA named Roadside America. There 3 Rail layout is a 100' x 50'. I don't remember what Episode it was in, in CTT. The second Layout is the Detroit Model Railroad Club in Holly, Michigan. I don't know the dimensions, but all I know is it's close to a 100 foot long. It's 2 rail. The third and final layout I know of was not Cataloged in CTT and if it was, it was a long time ago. The layout is named Chi Town Union Station in Commerce Twp, Michigan. The layout is 150' x 75' and it's also 2 Rail.

The New Jersey HiRailers layout is 185' long and still growing.  The width varies at different parts of the room, but I would say the average width is about 30'-35'.
