EnterTrainMent Junction !!

Just happened to come across the website for what is supposed to be largest model railroad located in West Chester , Ohio . Looks to be an awesome place to visit . So in the fall me and my wife would like to take a trip to go see EnterTrainMent Junction.  Being a 4 1/2 hour one way trip ,was wondering if anybody has been there before and could tell  us about their experience and their opinions about this fun place to visit.    Thanks alot ,    Train Fan.

To me, it looks like it's very kid-oriented.  There are few pictures of the trains themselves, and those that they do have look more like seasonal displays than model railroads.

The place is within a mile of my home, but I have not been there yet.  I would to go someday.  Two of the boys in the family worked on the plumbing during construction and besides talking about all the pipe they were running they constantly talked about the size of the layout.  It is a G scale layout and I believe a lot of people belonging to the Greater Cincinnati Garden Railway Society help with the layout construction, etc..

They advertise on thier website as it being the worlds largest large scale layout.  I have heard there is a lot of interaction features for the kids.

The  following is the link for "Cincinnati In Motion", the S scale layout at the Cincinnati Museum Center At Union Terminal modeling Cincinntai from 1900 through the 1940's with working trains, streetcars and inclines.  There si a video in the link.

And while your in the station, wander up to Tower A and watch some trains. Heck the whole station is worth seeing.
