The "ALCO Models" is the only one I know of in HO Brass. JJL has the cast resin body version. Both are extremely nice. The JJL has the advantage of a better drive from P2K or ATLAS??
I have the ALCO Models LIMA switcher in brass. Even harder to find is the LIMA RS 1200 Road Switcher, I do not think anyone has done this landmark road switcher. This looks a lot like an ALCO RS-3. I bought two JJL models LIMA switchers and am kit bashing them to go on an ATLAS RS-3 Chassis. So far so good. I will post pictures when I get a moment.
My LIMA RS 1200 Road Switcher will be a Penn Central with the EMD prime mover re-power stacks. NYC had these originally and repowered them about 1957.
The LIMA switcher will be painted in B&O. Both units will work the "city line" on Delaware Avenue on my Reading Philadelphia waterfront layout.
