Nice lighting and angle, and it looks like a decent crowd was on board the open-air car.  Thanks for sharing.

Since you mentioned the rare old [cast-iron ?] crossing sign in the caption - perhaps another time, consider using it as the large foreground photo prop, instead of the generic plastic newspaper box.  Just my 2 cents' worth.

....Really nice photo...but I certainly agree with PDN, that  old "cast" sign would have been a great close item in the photo.

I'm wondering if the passenger coach visible on left side of photo is the one we rode back in 1960...That coach was on the rear of the train and included wicker chairs inside and believe it was Pres. Grover Cleveland's car at one time...{I'm relying on memory here...}.  In thinking back, believe that car was a dull maroon color....

Also, didn't we see in the news recently, new ownership will be operating EBT....

 A friend told me they had new owners, and are eligible for assistance now. Nice to see places like this preserved.

Hi Modelcar! The coach you are referring to is the EBT's business car, Orbisonia. It was used by Grover Cleveland when he visited the railroad, but it wasn't his car. The car was owned by the railroad and used for company business and visiting dignitaries, just like any other business car would have been.

Thanks for the update on the car, Orbisonia....It's been some time since we did that...and have photos of that trip around here somewhere.  It was fun riding in that car at the time.

Hope EBT is able to continue to operate and not fall by the wayside.
