Re: COFFEE POT #9 [July], for all to take a drink and chat. Welcome all posters. 4 yrs old and still going.

WOW!!!  Sidney is getting a bath.  I got out of shower and weather alert went off.  Seems out of no where and un-predicted thunderstorm came up and is hitting Roseyville.  All my watering is being washed with strong down pours and lightning.  Worse T'storm we have had this year.  Thank you Lord.  We needed the rain.  It is pouring.  Good night.

Morning all.  Well, the grass is happy after that surprise T'storm last night.

Hey Strogey, did I ask you earlier, are you near Spokane?  Was there and Post Falls, ID for Cabela's Grand Opening in Jan of 08.  SNOWED!!!!

Got to get moving as want to head to the lake house and not be here till noon as it usually works out.  Truck is load except with cooler of parishables and my clothes.

Hope all have a safe and happy 4th.

Good morning all,

It is cloudy and cool in SE Indiana with temps in the 70s today.  It was one of the most embarassing games I ever participated in last night.  We had 11 players and the other team had 9 and we still lost 3-2.  One of the goals was my fault, and there is no way I should have played the 50 minutes, but we still should have won.  The "saucy wench" and I did have a good meal afterwards at Fazzoli's.  Off work tomorrow for the holiday.  Will have to mow this weekend, but Lucas has a three day weekend as well so he can help.  May run trains this weekend and will watch the IRL race as well.  Things are getting lively on the Tardis so the Beacon will be lit.  I had the regular fare on the dining car for breakfast.  I hope everyone has a good day.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Morning all.  Well, the sun is out....again, and we are expecting highs in the upper 90s....again.  Son got some of his gifts this morning.  FIL and his bride are on their way down.  We will head out to a local Mexican place the kids love for lunch.  Then I have to go into work.  Tomorrow, we will celebrate with a family who has 4 kids and our kids get along with them very well, so the house will get trashed then.  With friends and family scattered, we find that we have to have multiple parties.  Oh well.

Watched a little of a movie called "Do No Harm" that is coming out.  Don't bother, it is trash.  Having a intimate knowledge of the case, it is a "documentary" in much the same way "Bowling for Columbine" was a "Documentary".  Some folks had a position they wanted to get out, so they made a movie that they called a documentary so that it would give their position credibility.

Chief, hopefully, they have caught the wandering wallaby by now.  I am sure that has added to the excitement in the town.  Hopefully, he has not ended up on a dinner table somewhere.

God Bless,

Dennis

Good Morning

Still overcast and going into the 70s. Enough rain overnite to give everything a nice drink. Grannys baking chocolate chip cookies, really good  when they are still warm. I guess I will just see how the day goes from here...S.J.

Breaking news: Rumor has it that the wallaby has been added to the Rosyville registered voter list. Could be the Chief knows more than he is telling.

8ntruck:

Sunny & low 80's today.

97Probe - creepers can be fun.  Friend of mine got a ride on his when the 1/2" drill he was using grabbed.  Round & round until the cord wound up and pulled out of the wall!

Not much else - later, all.

Good thing it wasn't a cordless drill. He could be half way to China before the battery quit.

Banks - I think the propane cannon to repel deer would work. Only problem - the deer eat close to the house. Could cause dreams of being in the civil war!

Everyone, have a good BBQing holiday!

Today's Wise Farmer's saying: Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got.

Wallaby sighted in trailer park near back side of Main Street Park.  PD spotted him.  Wonder if he was trying to move into one of the vacant trailers????  FD came with infrared device that picks up body heat.  No could find.  He is hiding today.

GONE!!!

Hey Guys...missed me?

Dennis – ALWAYS remember Hackensack , just like 9/11

for those I’ve missed in my absence

Orlando was great, hot and tiring.  300 miles on a Sportster is not all that it’s cracked up to be, but it was fun and lunch was fantastic!!

Happy Canada Day for our Northern friends, those that gave us the NHL and

NEW JERSEY DEVILS HOCKEY!!!!!!

Happy 4th guys....work beckons, check in later

Well Rich look at it this way, at least you know it will run for 300 miles and not leave you stranded, and that is a good thing. We had one day on our trip last week that was 490 miles, UFF DA, at the 400 mile mark it became more like work and less like fun. The adult beverages later did help sooth the spirit :) I had google and mapquested our trip and they both said 436 miles, I cannot understand why odometers can't be more accurate, I know it's an industry wide problem with bikes, burns me up. Time for the train room.
