Pat, I'm the Irish Spring solution.  Just throw them on the ground around the area you do not want deer in.   Replish if they melt away.

Sorry about the wrong credit. If I use the Irish Spring can I expect to look out the window and see this?

Pat

Buckeye Riveter:

Make that two Molsons.  I love exploring Canada.  It is a fascinating land with great people who know how to fish.

Hope they can finally help you learn how to fish.  I've been trying for years and some people, you just can not help.

Hot walk in the park with Lucy.  No wallaby.  Several folks from Vet's office and interested parties are there hoping he will hop by.  They think he is just hiding very well.  I think he may have hopped away from there and is somewhere else.  May be at my pond.

OK experts, Do you think Irish spring might keep rabbits away? We have a major problem, they love our garden. Certain types of flower buds, plant leaves and green pepper plants. No I CANNOT use a 22, we live within the city limits and that is a major offense.  S.J.

Sheeesh! Wallaby issues one minute----Deer issues the next!!

Wallaby might taste good but I'm not sure it is really game meat----OOPS!! Did I say that a little too loud?

BTW-- the one thing that I know about Wallaby is that they hide REAL GOOD---they'll hide ANYWHERE

As for Deer----OK, I use a compound bow when hunting---if in season, that is. The only thing I found that worked was an ultrasonic beeper that a friend uses when up in cottage country near Algonquin Park. 'Spring'---the little black/white in my avatar---scared the bejabbers out of one that got a little too close to the back screen patio door one night. All I saw was this furball fly at the screen and then heard this crashing sound from the deck---I ran to the door and saw this deer just booking it over the back fence----meanwhile there was 'Spring' hanging off the screen going ---"Meh? Mc--Mc--Mc--"---clicking away to no one now that the deer was gone--

I'm having a Molsons to honor all of you-----and to honor Karl Maldens memory RIP

Buckeye --  sorry about the momentary lapse in addressing the Roseyville Rascal.  For some odd reason I can't call him Chief, just seems wrong.  On your second thought --  prohibition has NOT been lifted in Iowa except in Johnson County, home of the Iowa Hawkeye's, and you know what kinds of dread that has brought to that community   I'll try and be more judicious in my future salutations.

It's CANADA DAY .....

Ah, that explains today's sunshine girl photos!  Is that considered proper use of a Canadian flag?  No, I'm not posting a link, google is your friend. lol

I'm still here, just haven't had anything to post.   Maybe have something to say after I catch up on the rest of this new "POT."

Hello all,

Pat, a local truck farmer uese a propane cannon to repel deer. It can be set to regularly shoot. It can also be adjusted for how loud.

Sir James. Get some 22 cal. CB caps. They will do in a rabbit with little more noise than a pellet gun.

Dwiemer. Thanks for the reminder to remember our fallen public servants

Prayers for all who need them.

Good evening

Well the rain showed up about two hours ago. Not much more than a shower. Got my running done this morning and have done little else since. So have some banilla and rootbeer with me and we will wait for  the Tardis...S.J.

Hmm - maybe it is a leprechaun running around Roseyville???  That soap might be attracting the Wee Folk

Patrick, hope you are continuing to improve!!  That's a clever device - the radio under the bucket!

Don   That was Great man!

Running a little earlier today, so I'll watch for a few more beacons and porch lights   Scope is working and we'll be on the way soon!

Sunny & low 80's today.

97Probe - creepers can be fun.  Friend of mine got a ride on his when the 1/2" drill he was using grabbed.  Round & round until the cord wound up and pulled out of the wall!

Not much else - later, all.
