THE FLAT WHEEL CAFE/DINER JULY VERSION
All hands lay back to the U Haul and let's get it loaded. We've been evicted again, and this is the new location for a while. Come one come all to the grand opening celebration at the new location. Today only, everything is on the house. See you at the geedunk.

Denver finally got into the 90's this year (93 degrees today) ... won't get out of the eighties next week.

Re: THE FLAT WHEEL CAFE/DINER JULY VERSION
Good Wednesday morning, everyone. Dan, we will definitely be saying prayers for Misty! I hope that she'll be out of ICU very soon, and be home with you and Baby. Congratulations to you and Misty on your fine looking son!! Another cutie for us all to admire!
Tom, thank you for opening our new location for this month. I was going to take care of it last evening, but got very busy with several things around the house, and did not make it back in. Coffee, juices, lemonade, iced teas, and hot water for tea are ready, as well as a couple of big drums of Gatorade for Sir Chicken. On the warmer bar this morning: bagels, bear claws, turkey bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, tater tots, homemade buttermilk biscuits w/sausage gravy, oatmeal w/raisins, dates and walnuts, and toast. It feels really nice and comfortable this morning, with a temp in the low to mid 60s. They're saying we 'may' reach 80 degrees today. Everyone enjoy your morning, and take care!

Good morning, it's Wednesday! 67 and sunny in Caroliona, with an expected high of 97. Dan, please keep us advised about Misty. She is in our prayers. Everybody take care.

Good Morning
Got our 60% showers showering us with that 60% right now. Kinda dull as well. Supposed to get to 19C today with the low going to 13C tonight.
Today is CANADA DAY so we're off from work----I've got some work to do in the basement though.
Dan---we'll keep Misty in our prayers as well.
Have a good one----

blownout cylinder:Today is CANADA DAY so we're off from work
And the beginning of a very long (albeit profitable for the merchants) weekend in Alexandria Bay, NY and other spots near the border, as revellers celebrate both Canada Day and Independence Day.
Growing up near the border, my kids are a little more attuned to things Canadian than the average U.S. Citizen. When my daughter was attending college in VA, she amazed her friends with her knowledge of "O Canada," the national anthem, when it was performed at sporting events.
The fourth being on Saturday, I have Friday off. Maybe I'll get the lawn mowed, and I may go shopping for a truck.
A communications SNAFU left me out of the schedule for the RR in July, but that's fixed and I'm definitely on it now - working both the 4th and the 5th. One of our regulars is laid up, so I'm filling his spot most of the month.
Got that bearclaw warmed up on the grill, so it's time to hunker down in the corner with my tea.

Re: THE FLAT WHEEL CAFE/DINER JULY VERSION
....It is really dark here now....Very cloudy and looking like rain. But once again, the radar shows nothing near us now. Still a change of rain this afternoon.
Finally......Shrubs are all trimmed. And my back feels it too.
Yard mowing next, sometime today or tomorrow. To be partly cloudy tomorrow.
Good temps here this morning for outside work.
Will have to find lunch someplace after we rest a while.
Mole field quiet....Could it be I've eradicated them all....? Time will tell.

Re: THE FLAT WHEEL CAFE/DINER JULY VERSION
Good afternoon, everyone. Went to the grocery this morning: that's why I'm just now getting back in here. Larry, sounds like you're going to have busy, busy weekend. The menu for the rest of the day: Italiana Day, with spaghetti w/meat balls, lasagna, you choice of garlic bread, garlic sticks, garlic Texas toast, or Texas toast w/parmasean cheese, and your choice of these salads: garden or Caesar. Quentin, it looks like we could get some rain in the next little bit. It was very cloudy and overcast when I came out of the grocery. Still looks like it could start raining any time. We do have a 20% chance for the day. Wondering where Mookie and Brian Hanel are. I don't recall seeing them in this morning. And who else are we missing today? You all enjoy your meal, and have a great afternoon.

Re: THE FLAT WHEEL CAFE/DINER JULY VERSION
I'm back from having my wisdom teeth pulled. I'm in quite a bit of pain, but I guess that's to be expected for the first day or two. I have a feeling I'm going to be eating quite a bit of applesauce, pasta, and other soft foods.
The weather right now is beautiful. Blue skies, 80 degrees, and low humidity. Couldn't ask for more.
I hope everyone has a good day!

Willy - ouch! Wonder what the wisdom in having them is, since they are almost always pulled!
CW - I lurk occasionally. Haven't completely disappeared. (Actually, I have been next door reading the new Trains magazine to Iowa Brian!)
