Looks good.  I haven't pulled it from the shop yet. Shock [:O] WSOR 503149 (70th Anniv. car)  just arrived Horicon on Friday 10-10.  Might have to put them next to each other....Wink [;)]

It won't fit any of my time era's, but I think I want to start an MR anniversary collection. Now if only I knew about the car shops in Horican back in HS when I only lived like a 40 minutes away.....

Atlas O has announced that it is making an O scale version of the 75th anniversary car, due out later this year.

The Athearn HO "model" is out.  (The Athearn car is undersized.  Park an Atlas next to it to see the difference.)

WSOR 503175 was in Iron Ridge last time I saw it.  Visible from Fireman's Park.

Re: The Model Railroader 75th anniversary boxcar enters service

For what it's worth, I believe that the Athearn RBL uses the old Details West tooling and is something like 3" short. I have one of the Details West cars and four of the Atlas, all repainted and lettered for WSOR.  I read on another discussion group about the "discrepancy" and had never noticed the difference even though I usually run the cars in groups of 2 or more.  Anyway, it's not enough of a difference--at least to my eyes--to matter.
