From Brio Customer Service:  "It is not something we can locate in the BRIO product catalogs we have available going back to 1979."

Hmmmm.  Then I'm stumped.  I could have sworn it was Brio.  I definately had a picture of it in a catalog at some point, but it's not in any of the new ones.  I'm not very optimistic about my chances, but I'll see if my kids have an old catalog with that item in it.

Yeah, push train and electric scenery, LOL!  I think it probably just made noise originally?  Maybe the bridge would drop or something?  I need to get over there and actually play around with it.  Thanks for continuing the search, man!

I found the answer for your mountain, Brutus. It is Brio, and it was part of a set called " Brio Pirate set". The mountain is supposed to open up (explode) and rocks rolled down. It's listed on ebay, item # 360032936998, and the seller is phun4you. Hope this helps. Ken

Thanks guys, I'm calling JD right now to tell him - It looks like the back of the mountain, maybe?

Re: Help with wood train set for a friend please!

Sent link and talked to buddy.  Also got email reply from seller.  It's just the top and he said it's not actually a brio mountain.  The boulders are supposed to roll down when you hit the plunger.  I emailed back and asked if the action still works, but no reply.  Looks like it will run out of time and no call back from buddy.

Thanks a lot for all the hard work, guys!  I sure appreciate it!
