The arrest took place after deputies received a tip that Carrillo was on the train with the stolen weapons.

After deputies confirmed with Amtrak police that Carrillo was aboard, they arranged to have the train stopped in Laton, Curtice said.

Two loaded handguns were found in a pack Carrillo was carrying and four more -- one with serial numbers ground off -- were in another bag, Curtice said. Also seized were several bottles of Oxycontin and morphine tablets.
