Re: The Coffee Pot is still on after 2 1/2 years. Here we gather as friends with trains.

Brent,

I get all kinds of facial looks from my daughter without doing anything special. I get really good looks from my 13 year old son by just existing in his space Question [?]

Your layout plan looks good.

Roy,
I don't have kids, but my father used to threaten to have a phone implanted in my sister's head, that way all she had to do was 'jack-in' when she got home!  LOL!

With today's advent of wireless technology that threat by my father could actually happen! Disapprove [V]

Just what women need... a way to talk without having a device held to their head!

Maybe you could get one of those cellphone disabling devices:

But you would have to record her facial expressions as every time her cell does dead!  LOL!  That could be rather entertaining! LOL!

I kind of found this post entertaining regarding blocking a cell signal while someone is driving!

My son tells me he is sure that women will be born that way in the future.

Underworld, Marmite is a bi-product of the brewing industry. People usually have a strong reaction to their first taste. I like it on toast , but my cousin from California hates the stuff it was intresting watching her face when she tried it while visiting us.Wink [;)]

However if it came down to Marmite or Waffles, Waffles win hands down.

Nick's guide to obscure and not so obscure UK food continues....LOL

Dennis - is the modern-era book you bought different than what is posted on Lionel's web site?

Roy, I am not sure.  I have the book ordered, so it will take a few days to make the trip south.  I believe it is mostly the information on the Lionel site, only a bit more detailed and with some added information.  That is one reason I would not spring for the $250 to get it.  I will let you know when I get it.

I currently have both kids home with me and my bride is on her way home.  She tells me I am addicted to trains...................Confused [%-)]Is that a problemConfused [%-)]

If anyone comes across one of those NYC mack trucks, the flatbed with the load, I am looking for one.  Please give me a shout, better by email as I may miss it in the long threads here.

Thanks,}

Dennis

Good Evening ......

It snowed about 4 inches today. Looks beautiful, if you don't have to drive in it.

Got some work done on the layout. Coming along, slow but sure.

Good Night, All.

I'm gassy this morning! Whew!!!

What is wrong with apple pie for breakfast ?????

Now if you had put a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream on top, then maybe it wouldn't be considered OK. Now I'm not saying it wouldn't be good, just not good for you. To each his own, one of my personal fav's was a place that had served a really decadent choc cake with a huge scoop of french vanilla ice cream and a generous helping of hot fudge sauce all over it. OINK, OINK !!!!! Ashamed [*^_^*]

Had a great run at the museum today, as laz says "no pile-ups". Small turnout today.

Dennis - I would be very interested if the book is more descriptive than the web site info.

Thanks!

Roy,

I will try to give as much of a detailed description of the book when I get it.  I understand that it is more of the diagrams and a bit less of the how to's as in the 45-69 manual, but I will have to see.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.  Supposed to hit the mid 60's again.  Sure would be bad to live up northBlack Eye [B)]
