Thank you Alan, that is a fantastic piece of work. Reminds me of the old Dearborn Station in Chicago.

Re: Pictures of my train shed on the new layout...hope you enjoy!!
The train shed is made of Birch ply and cut out on a CNC machine. Jim Robinson who owns Bridgeboss had been developing plans for producing train shed sections earlier this year and through his efforts, he allowed me to make some suggestions and changes to come up with what you see in the pictures. Of course the model had to be built and painted which took some time to accomplish. Thanks, Alan

Alan,
Excellent pictures. Welcome and thanks for posting them here. Your layout is an inspiration; especially that Cityscape. Beside the shed you have some beautiful city buildings. What can you tell me about the building in the last picture that is at the end of the train shed. It appears to have a tower that stands above it? Is that a scratch built building?

Re: Pictures of my train shed on the new layout...hope you enjoy!!
Thanks guys for the humbling comments. Northwoods.....that building you see is the train station. It is a kitbashed project that I built from five Disney Main Street Stations and one castle building set. The tower is a clock tower which is 30 inches tall and will have four operating clock faces. The cityscape you see is a mixture of scratch built and MTH, etc. buildings. Thanks, Alan
