Smoke fluid substitute

Hi, my broither lives abroad on a small town in Brazil and it is impossible for him to get smoke fluid. Is there a good substitute out there? Something like baby oildperhaps?

Re: Smoke fluid substitute

Smoke fluid is supposed to be mineral oil, often with added fragrances.  Here is the Wikipedia article:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_oil  He might find that baby oil is a suitable substitute.  You might want to investigate the translation of "mineral oil" into Portuguese (maybe "óleo mineral") to be sure he gets the right stuff.

Re: Smoke fluid substitute

When I was a teenager, I couldn't afford smoke pellets so I used 3 in 1 oil and later Wahl Hair clipper oil although I have not tried this in any of the newer smoke units.
