Hello all, Never tried dove hunting. Haven't hunted small game in years. To many irons in the fire Looking forward to Deer season. Monday after Thanksgiving here in PA. My son did bag a turkey last week one day. I never tried hunting them either.
I was at the Monroeville from 10:00 till 12;00 on Sunday. Crowd was average for a Greenburg Show. Unless the roads are bad I've been going to spring and fall Monroeville show petty regularly for 20+ years. I've never been to the July show. Bob, take care of the foot don't rush too much and hurt something.
Best head to bed 5:00 comes to soon Prayers to all who may need them

Dennis - prayers for your Dad. Prayers for Bob and for 8nT's wife and Jim's daughter, and other Jim's son, and all the rest who are in need. May God heal our hurts and our hearts.
Still raining in St. Louis, but I think the biggest part of the storm is past us after 2 days. Had a short chat wth RT (sorry man) and then with SJ and Jeffrey. Said Hi to Doug, but got distracted and missed him.
Wife wanted to do some more family games. Instead of Empire Builder, we broke into Iron Dragons tonight, another "crayon-rails" game, this one with elves, dwarves, etc. It is very similar to Empire Builder. They are both from Mayfair Games.
Tardis is ready and I think it's Patrick's turn to fly - a little dove sounds nice to me, and we know where there is some banilla for desert

Low 40's and misty/light rain all day here.
Had to bail the basement last night, again this morning, and again when I brought lunch home to my wife. The problem is the trap in my sewer line between the house and the city sewer line. When we get lots of rain, the storm runoff washes sand and grit into the trap. Seems like I have to clean the trap after every heavy rain.
Stopped by the hardware store on the way home and got 10' of 1/2" conduit. I cut about 18" off of the end of my heavy drain snake and fastened it to the end of the conduit. Now I've got a poking stick that will turn the corner in the trap. Works OK too. Got the drain cleared out and running again. Ah, the joys of home ownership!
My missiles got here for my missile firing trail car, so I had to get it on the layout for some exercise. The old car seems to have a little more range than the newer, similar re-issues.
Chief - I nicked my thumb four stitches worth in my sable saw some years back. I found it frustrating because I kept finding out all the little things I used that thumb for during the day, that I could not do for a couple of weeks. One entertaining thing about that episode was the doctor explaining how he would rather sew up knife cuts than saw cuts because they were easier - all in Indian accented English. I'm thinking to myself 'just sew it up and send me on my way'.
Busy at work quoting new products. It is a hassle, but encouraging. We'll need to win some of these quotes to still have product to keep the plant running in a couple of years.
Later all.

Good morning all,
It is raining heavily in SE Indiana with temps in the 50s today. Busy last night. Went to YMCA first and did treadmill and soocer drills, no weights. Had supper, went to zoning board meeting to check out what neighbor had planned down the street. No major disruption so no problem. Got gasoline for truck and stopped by my dad's for a few. Watched "V". Not too sure yet, but found out next show is last one for 2009. Go figure. Fought the viruses on the computer again and some SL. Was tired. Slept well. I had the regular fare on the dining car this morning before sending it on to "Points East". TBIL, and I am glad Patrick drove last night. Don's neighbor was in fine form last night although not quite as good as the one lady on "Dancing with the Stars" (oh my mercy!). I hope everyone (especially those who need the prayers) has a good day.
Keep on training,
Mike C. from Indiana

Cloudy and cool. Suppose to rain. Got meetings this afternoon and one tonight in the Triangle. Means late getting home.
Brent, thought that was usual for you [being high]. I understand.
Should see the video of the DOT moving sand off of highwy 12 at Hatterass. Sand was higher than the big front end loader. Took a couple of days to clear.
Off to the gym and then go pick up Lucy at groomers [I was up at 5:30 AM to get her there on time ]
BTW: finger is doing great. did discover that there are 5 stiches worth. Now I can kiss and hug pigs. Got swine flu shot while I was at Dr.'s. She wanted me to have it as I get pneumonia every spring.
Have a good one.

Aloha all. Rainy here - on its way to Ohio and Michigan. Went to Fields nee Macys this morning before work to try to use some coupons. Nothing like a big-city department store during the holidays. Have to go find Santa one of these days. Sorry missed you last night, Brutus. Had to get organized for grading. Also boxed up our Rock Band game that has a broken drum - took forever as it is outsized. Found the extended warranty I bought and will try to use it. Anyone watch the WWII on HD series on the History channel?

Doug,
We were watching that program a few nights ago. I never knew that color footage like that of the war existed. It seems like an interesting show.
Brent,
I was starting to wonder where you went.
I got my online work done last night, so I decided to work on the Flyer 766 station. After about half an hour, it was vibrating nicely, and the figures were moving at a good pace. So I thought "Maybe I can get it to work better yet". Well, I am right back where I started now. I've got to get a Flyer parts order placed today as well.

I think I like this southern CA weather Holy Cow! Inland high of 72 today so I already have my shorts on and I'm heading for the beach for a L O N G walk. Doug--I think we are headed for the Zoo and Museum on Friday, Don--I doubt that we will be headed north, just not enough time. The only negative about the trip--flying. All on time but talk about crowded, I hate it. I fly about twice a year and although it's a quick way to get someplace it's absolutely misery.

Mornin' All.
Jon, If you go for your beach walk starting at La Jolla Shores be careful how far north you walk, chances are you could run into the "skinny dippers area".
I'll give ya a call later today to set-up the museum visit, it will be hard to see both in one day.
As for the flying, look on the bright side, your flight crew weren't playing on their laptops resulting in overflying the airport.

Good afternoon Y'all! Had a quiet morning. Lots of small cases to get done, but went well. Cut out about 11am to head to the Sheriff's department Shooting range. Did the combat course...outshot everyone, including the experts....I've been doing competitions for a number of years (but they didn't know that ).
Just an observation, but look at this motley crew here: We have all kinds of injuries and issues we are contending with. What is great about this place, is that we can all come here, share our lives and get encouragement from our friends here.
Had a nice lunch with the brothers who are writing the script of the next movie. Was a most enjoyable time in that they are both great men of faith and have very good advice for the issues that I have been facing. Keeping the right perspective is paramount in dealing with our loss.
Drove through the NS yard in town today. There were more locomotives today than at anytime I have ever seen there. A couple of Union Pacific engines, along with better than 10 NS engines. Not sure what is going on, but perhaps they are in process of shipping some motive power around.
God Bless, Dennis
