Re: COFFEE POT #13 [November], for all to take a drink and chat. Welcome all posters. 4 yrs old and still going.
Good Evening
63 today.
Leaves still blowing all over the place so I will wait till monday. Dennis made a post on facebook that his mother has past. I hope I am not out of line by posting this in his place. I just thought his friends should know. Some time outdoors and TV football was my day. Waiting for the Tardis to hop all over the place before it gets here. Banilla will be waiting.

Chief - Remember to pace yourself, easy on the hydrating, and stretch pretty good before. Hope you win! Good luck!
Did just that. Was there at the finish line when the first runner came in [I was the starter but they wouldn't let me shoot my pistol, had to use siren on "bullhorn".] Two first places were guys [one in his late 20's and second was 14]. Ran it in a little over 19 minutes [3 miles]. 120 runners which I thought was pretty good since first time we had done this. Was a sanctioned and certified race. I had to hand out the rewards. Also had car/truck show [CobraBob8 would have loved that]. Some nice rides [30 years old or more]. Some "T's" and "A's", some Chevelles, Transam, big Chevies, some Fords, one MoPar and a pretty white 62 Corvette convertable [like on Route 66]. I had to leave before it was judged to meet Frankie at big train show. Big trains show was pretty good. Big 40 X 80 HO layout. Was massive. All modules. Great scenery. Lots of mills and some mines. Also had a 20X20 N gauge layout. Those guys had to keep "pushing" or "nudging" their engines when operating at a slower speed. If they flew, they did pretty good. HO had DCC but still not as good as our TMCC/Legacy and PS2. Some engines had sound but could not be heard over the fans and etc. The most popular with the kids was the O guage but it was a small one with Polar Express and a Santa train. Left there and went to Miss Edna. She was featured in a 30 minute cable TV show. Full of brunswick stew [from Pam's parents' Church. Tied so off to bed.
BTW: NCSU meat Maryland [finally got there heads out........ and won a game]

Another quiet day here on the mountain, hopefully anyway. Things are going pretty well considering all the fun we've had the last few weeks. We must be in operation, I'm watching 1615's again:) So sad to hear about Dennis' mother. Prayers for him and the family. Jim - I'm going up to Colorado for Christmas this year. I'll talk to Tom about the Probe and maybe we will try that ignition module mod. He does like the car, but I don't really thing he has the time or funds to invest in it. It's been sitting for several years now. It would be nice to see it with someone who is into it. It's a blue GT w/ less than 100K. If Tom is interested in selling, I'll send you some pictures. The retro railroad article in the last CTT is making me ancy. Would like to get some more switches so I can play w/ track plans, but darned if I can remember if I need more rights or lefts

HI GYZ,
Frosty morning here to get to 67. Gotta suck up leaves again. Went for pheasants yesterday, got a good walk in and only put up one bird. Couldn't get a shot at it, would have hit it in the butt end and ruined it. It flushed out of the high sweet grass and couldn't get a head shot. Corn is still up and can't get in the up corn so gotta wait for farmers to cut corn then we'll have lots o birds. Had fire with BRO last nite, burgers, dogs, and OL MILs. Great nite. Ran trains for an hour, NO PILE UPs.
DENNIS, sorry for your loss, prayers for you.
Stay frosty,

Mornin' boys. Sunny & 52 here in the Mid-Atlantic region. Speaking of 52, if Ray-Ray & Co play half as intense as they did against Denver, could be a long day for Bengals fans.
Chief - I was refering to the train show, big guy...

Good Morning from Blueberryhill....
It is a sunny and clear 55 degrees. Going up to a beautiful 70 degrees, with lots of sunshine.
Today is an easy day. I plan on watching the Nascar race from Texas, this afternoon. Maybe from the train room. Maybe spend some time outside, enjoying the weather.
Dennis.....Sorry for your loss. Prayers out to you, and your family.
Dining car was here, and we had the usual for breakfast.
Where is Spankybird ? ( Tom ).
Y'all have a great Sunday.

Did a search of my posts and found out I needed right hand switches. Lo and behold I found a good deal on a couple of 1122's and a controller. Should be having fun next week. I figure I can a least sit on the floor and put track together while my foot is recouperating. I also found some LEDs to replace the #53 bulbs. Just about every one in the used set of switches I got a while back was burned out. I'll let you guys know how they work out. Seemed to be destined not to get a 1615, but all in good time I guess. Mornin' All.
Dennis, Condolences to you and the rest of the family.
Jon, Not sure how long yuz guys plan on hanging around out here but check out this link, http://cal-stewart.org/ . It's not quite the size of York but it should have all the makers(importers) there as well as a lot of sellers. I'll be sending an e-mail early this week regarding the museum. Did Sharyl want to visit as well or is it just a "boy's day out" ?
The last of the halloween layout visitors will be here later today, tomorrow it starts coming down. Lotsa work but also lots of fun. Kinda funny watching some parents almost have to drag their kids out to finish their "trick-or-treating".
Later all.
