Not much on the train front, but I am a couple weeks late on the Disney train pics.

I didn’t get inside due to a 2+hour wait, but saw the 3D preview.  Looks like another winner.

Good ole Marx, love it. Collect the metal stuff but don't run it much.

Here is more progress on the stock yard, there is not much left to do here other than some detailing...

Re: Sunday Photo Fun 11-01-09

Excellent pictures as usual folks.  They are all inspiring.

Jim Sturgeon - I'm sorry to hear that the layout is gone, but with your photos posted here for us all to enjoy it will hardly be forgotten.

Here are some photos of some ideas I have been trying out for the other urban area on the BlueBoard Central Division of American Flyer Lines. Its been fun positioning things, living with them for a while and then making some changes.

I obviously have some room for expansion, but I have to aquire more buildings before that happens.  Trainfest is coming up in Milwaukee this month so there is a good possibility that will happen.

I went digging around in some of the stored S-gauge and found my 579 and 580 street lights.  I placed the green versions in one urban area and the silver version in the other.

Have a great Sunday.

Re: Sunday Photo Fun 11-01-09

The much anticipated CPL signal project is underway on the CONNELLSVILLE SUBDIVISION.  MOW car #16620 arrived from the Chicago Division, and even sent two signal maintainers to get things rolling.  First picture shows WM 27 pulling up at Keystone, PA.  Notice how the signal is facing away from the tracks (standard procedure on B&O) prior to activation.

Color position light now in place, crew checks the green markers.

Next stop, Meyersdale, PA. (Bed and Breakfast is a new addition from this year's LEMAX catalog)

Nearing the end of the day, crew finds itself at Baltimore Street in downtown Cumberland, MD.

Last light of day, train is headed past MY tower and into Knobley Tunnel (Ridgely,WV).  C&O 16620 will be on its way to California next.

*Note- signals are not working as instructed at this writing, and I will be soliciting some help on another thread.

Good photos all. David loved your articles for CTT and your videos over on YouTube.

Paul, I've been meaning to say I really admire the photos of your layout and what you've done with it. A perfect example of how good traditional sized postwar trains can look on a well done layout, with what appears to be 027 turbular track no less.

I in particular liked the photo from last week of the SP&S caboose going down the track past the same station. Again, your layout goes to show great hi-railing with ordinary affordable trains!
