Please Help First Time RC Installation

I am trying to install Radio Control System in a box car and am stuck with where to connect what.  I have the SPEKTRUM DX5e system and cannot get it to run my loco in both directions.  It will run in only one direction.  Could some one please help me with this problem.  A wiring diagram would be good if at all possible.  The loco i am tring to setup this up on is:-

Which [RCS] ESC-throttle are you using?  I have installed an RCS BELTROL system into an F3AB unit using the RCS 9A ESC and Spectrum DX5e.  You might check this web site for wiring diagrams:
