Commuter train no match for baby stroller?

I'm sure that some of you must have seen this by now? where are the  usual comments and raucous insults about the incompetence of the parent?

Criticizing the parent after seeing the video would be, as they say in the NFL, piling on. The video says it all.

I can only imagine what it felt like inside her skin when she became aware of what was about to happen.  You know...the wuuff as the air leaves your lungs, your gut tightens mightily, everything plays in slow motion...and she did reach out to attempt to stop the buggy from tipping.

I am very happy with the outcome, but I would still not want to be that mom this day.  At some point she may allow herself the luxury of recognizing how close she came to losing her own life when she reacted as she did.

All's well that ends well, no matter how spectacular or unbelievable the event may have been.

The mom or baby has a very attentive guardian angel.  They are very useful.  I know because I have one too.

Mark, who wouldn't be here except for a GA

You have that right! That is just a miracle. It’s amazing that the locomotive just didn’t obliterate the stroller.

"Piling on" has been a FAVORED armchair occupation here for quite some time.

After all, just imagine how the poor engineer must have felt?

not to mention that numbing dread that comes in the moments immediately after, as the gravity of the situation sets in and you ponder the havoc you have wrought.

Then, as a parent, you are forced to watch as that train sits atop your off spring while the officials "safely" retrieve your progeny, each second passing as a millinea

Mark; I Also believe in gardian angels. A few times when we were trucking incidents could have occured , except for our angel sitting on the hood of Rattler ( Peterbilt )  these things are unforgettable and profound. We are retired now and hope our angel is still with us. Respectfully, Cannonball & Shirl.
