Frackville Display Layout will be OPEN this Sunday October 18th

The Frackville Model Train Display Layout will be OPEN this Sunday, October 18th from 12 noon until 5pm. We are hoping the cooler weather will bring us some visitors.

We have a 3 rail O scale layout 24' x 55' multiple levels. We run 6 trains that stop and go automatically on one mainline, then a second mainline runs both TMCC and MTH DCS. The 3rd & 4th main are both conventional or TMCC.  We also have some G scale trains running.  Our layout is based on the Mahanoy Valley from Buck Mountain, through Mahanoy City, Gilberton, Maizeville, Mahanoy Plane, Girardville, and Ashland. We highlight the Reading and the PRR on the Steam Era. We also have some trolleys running. Lots of scenery and buildings.

Please come check us out.  We are located in the Schuylkill Mall, Frackville PA at the intersection of I-81 and SR-61. We are located in the mall wing where the former Steve & Barry's Dept Store was. We are across from the Payless Shoe Store.  We look forward to seeing you, The North Schuylkill High Railers.
