As many of you are aware, California recently approved their budget.  One of the requirements were the deposit of resources to ensure involvement in the new National Health Plan.  As the state currently has an estimated 62% uninsured, the premium was a little high.  Then adding a little humility to injury it was also required that the carrier be one that was certified by the current administration.  So surprisingly enough the B&O was contacted for the transport.  The only rolling stock available was an "open hopper".  (The remainder of their inventory had been damaged in a unplanned mishap somewhere in NC.)


 

 

And he turned his back and now this is in NC.

 

 

No doubt in the Chief's basement!

Holy cow. Those gang bangers are called Homies. I never thought of using them for a layout. They sell them in the Supermarket quarter vending machines here. They look right at home
