Cuban National Loco Switching

Hello guys, I just came back from Cuba, where I spent my vacations with my father.  Just getting to know the country with my dad and having a good dad-son time.  Of all the things spected, I never spected this... I thought I should share it with you, enjoy!

Cuban National Railway No. 1552 switching at the Trinidad Wye, she's using the wye to turn back and head north.

Here she is!

Full steam ahead to the sugar cane plantations.

Backing up to pick up some passenger cars full of turists.

I like the way they tried to modernized this engine with handrails and newer tender trucks.

Its nice to know that if you look hard enough, you still can find steam loco's in their natural habit: revenue service. This isn't no muesum steamer, this is a steamer that earns its keep.

Keep on rollin', #1552!
