For Those of Us Who Take Their Trains Into the Garden

Since I took today as an off-day from the museum and being a creature of habit I still woke-up at 4:30. In killing some time I went thru one of our sister sites, Garden RR, and came across this link to a really neat garden rr. Must admit that for this area it is perfect, very low maintenance() and almost no watering() .

I'm a Collector, my Lionel stays on the shelf.  I'm an Operator, the "G" gauge goes in my back yard.

Thanks Doug,

That was a great ride!

Gave me my train fix for the week (month?).

I pretty much constantly struggle keeping my little loop functional in the side yard so when I see what folks like Ray have accomplished it literally knocks my socks off.

If you haven't checked out the Garden RR sister site you definitely should.

Doug, Thanks for posting the video link, nice.  Wonder how long it took to put that layout together.  Lots of work there.
