Alaska Railroad ARR 712 Budd RDC-2 Sold and On-the-Move

Stay tuned but the NYC's only RDC-2, which, since 1986, has been owned and operated by the ARRC and known as ARR 712, is soon to begin moving back, via Seattle, Minneapolis and Junction City, to its "childhood" home region, namely the Great Lakes states. www.eaglecovecamp.org. ARR 712 last week travelled from Anchorage to Whittier as part of an ARR freight consist and boarded the Fairbanks Provider, an Alaska Railbelt Marine rail barge, at Whittier on Thursday July 2. ETA Port of Seattle is July 8 at 4 p.m.
