For that stuff I usually just search ebay, or use trainz.com.  For post gulf war stuff I use wholesale trains.com

Try Trading Post Trains in Cleveland. Phone 216-661-7300.

Jim (the owner) has a lot of postwar and especially things like switches and accessories from that era.

He will ship, too. He does not have a website, though -- you have to call.

The Trading Post has been in the Lionel business since 1950.

Everyone forgot to mention choochooauctions.com They have a link to their ebay selling list, and there are sometimes lots of post war goodies, including switches and buildings. Try that, I've found lots of great stuff there.
