Bachmann DCC Turnouts

Beginner question   How do the Bachmann DCC turnouts work? Do you still need a switch motor,

or do you just give it a number in your command unit?  I am using the Bachmann Ez command.

Thinks in advance.

Re: Bachmann DCC Turnouts

The turnouts already have a built-in decoder and motor.  The instructions that come with the turnout will tell you the default address, how to change the address if you have more than one, and how to throw the turnout using the Bachmann or any other DCC system.
