This happened yesterday (7/1/09) on the San Joaquins from Fresno to Hanford. I'm surprised I didn't hear about it earlier.

A Fresno man carrying drugs and several stolen handguns was taken off an Amtrak train Wednesday afternoon by Fresno County sheriff's deputies.
Jeffery Mikel Carrillo, 28, was booked into the Fresno County Jail, sheriff's spokesman Chris Curtice said. The arrest took place after deputies received a tip that Carrillo was on the train with the stolen weapons.
After deputies confirmed with Amtrak police that Carrillo was aboard, they arranged to have the train stopped in Laton, Curtice said.
Two loaded handguns were found in a pack Carrillo was carrying and four more -- one with serial numbers ground off -- were in another bag, Curtice said. Also seized were several bottles of Oxycontin and morphine tablets.
