Lionel #35 lamp

Can any body tell me if Lionel made these lamps with a crown and shade glued together without the separate bracket and finial.  I thought they consisted of separate shade, crown, bracket and finial.

Re: Lionel #35 lamp

I looked up the No. 35 lamp and thought I had one but it was a No. 71. From the diagram the No. 35 has a four sided base mine has eight. So for discussion I included some pictures.

I included an active link. The lamp does have all those separate parts. Gee the Prewar Library is better than I thought>

I beleive the Chicago Line knock-offs were made with the crown glued onto the lens as you describe. These lamp posts do not have a terminal block in the base. They have pigtail leads coming out of the base. These lamp posts were made before MTH started knocking-off Lionel lamp posts. Overall they were nicely done, and available in a number of colors.
