BRASS BLACK

 Has anyone used a product called"brass black" to blacken the brass wheele sets on rolling stock..also if you have, does it work for  elec. pick-up wheel sets also..?????  BREEZY

David,Take it off..???? The liquid I have had for years, (I used to build Muzzleloader rifles) made the brass blue/black....I think it is a perm. application.

 Apply it, let it work, then take of the excess.  Its an oxidizer, and if you let it keep working, then you will get green resedue.
