Railroading in Aledo

A local business man restored the old depot to rent out for gatherings & reunions. Now we have a nice display outside. From the local paper.

The locomotive is fully restored & the wood waycar looks mighty fine.

Does anyone have more of the history of these museum pieces?

Re: Railroading in Aledo

Are those the ones from over at Pioneer Villiage??Over by Parkview Iowa they had a CB&Q way car and an industrial switcher so hmmmm might drive over there. Oh yeah I am back in teh Burg now!!! I have missed the Quads so I might have to drop out to Aledo one day to see my uncle and future aunt. I know I know but an incentive to visit none the less lol.
