My wife and I have just gotten the MR bug again after a layoff of fifteen or so years. We have settled on modelling the Rio Grande at the end of the steam era circa 1955. We can't seem to find plain old box car red 40' D&RGW box cars anywhere. Intermountain Railway used to make them but no one has them in stock. I'd redecorate some of my old cars but even the decals are non-existant. Surely all sources for this wonderful old fallen flag can't have dried up already.
