Why Bother ??

Whats the deal ? Why do people post messages with pictures so small ? I hate reading a post that sounds interesting, it includes photos and when you click on the thumbnail the pictures are the exact same size as the thumbnail. Are they doing something wrong or are they just posting the pics to drive me nuts?

Perhaps they just are not aware of how small the pics are when they appear in the thread. I myself hate when I click on a pic and only 1/4 of it will fit on my screen (19") and I need to scroll to attempt to see the whole picture.

In 1944 there was a joke floated through the German army in Northern France; it said:

If you look up and see a camoflaged airplane that is the British Air Force; if you look up and see a silver airplane that is the American Air Force; if you look up and you don't see an airplane that is the Luftwaffe!

I continuously see posts/responses which say:

Here is a photo of one of my locomotives taking on water at the Sneakyville tank.

.............And there ain't nothin' there. THE LUFTWAFFE HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!!!
